I personally have the CIMB FastSaver Account where I park my spare cash or emergency funds. CIMB FastSaver Account may not be the highest interest rate savings account, but I like this savings account is because it is simple.
In order to earn higher interests, there is no minimum credit card spend, no insurance or investment purchase, no bill payment and no salary crediting required. Having said that, CIMB does reward you with higher interest rates if you credit your salary or schedule a recurring transfer (Standing Instruction via GIRO) of minimum S$1,000 and when you spend using their CIMB Visa Signature Credit Card. Lastly, there is also no fall below fees or monthly fees.
