Singapore REITs to Buy in December 2023

Are you looking for Singapore REITs to Buy in December 2023? Today is the first day of the last month of year 2023. This is also the month where dividend investors count their total collected passive income from the REITs they bought throughout the year.

With the annual inflation rate in the US slowing down to 3.2% in October 2023 from 3.7% in both September and August, the Fed has decided in November to keep the interest rates between 5.25% to 5.50%. This is a positive move for REITs.

The share prices of most REITs have gone up since last month. If you have took opportunity and added some to your dividend stock portfolio, you should be smiling away by now.

For those that are still hesitating to add the REIT you have been watching for over the year, this is the last month of 2023 for you to take some action. You should have heard the famous quote, “Never time the market”.

As usual, I use Stocks Café Stock Screener to screen for a list of REITs that meet my predefined criteria so that I have a shorter list of REITs to analyse.

Below are the criteria that I used to screen for dividend stocks. You can adjust them to fit your risk appetite.

  • Current Yield (%) >= 5 and <= 10
  • Price / Earnings <=20
  • Price / Book <= 3
  • Market Capitalization >= 1B

It is important for you to know that you should not buy the stock solely based on the current dividend yield. The screening only provide you a shorter list to analyse further.

With the shorter list of REITs, I will then drill in further into each of them to analyse if they are worthy to add into my stock portfolio.
