Last month, I wrote about the UOB Stash Account Promotion.

Here is a recap of how the UOB Stash Account’s bonus interest will add up.

If you have less than $70K to invest, I suggest that you go for SBJUL23 GX23070H because the Singapore Savings Bond gives you 2.82% p.a. which is higher than 2.00% offered by UOB Stash Account. Even if you sell off the Singapore Savings Bonds after 1 year, you still earn the 2.76% interest rate.

However, if you have more than $70K, parking the money in UOB Stash Account make more senses as the total interest is 3.00%. If you have $100K, you earn a total interest of 5.00% with UOB Stash Account.

So, do your maths before investing into Singapore Savings Bonds or UOB Stash Account.
