REITs rallied on 11 November 2022. One week ago, I have screened a list of REITs that provide attractive current dividend yield. You may wonder due to the rally, what is their current dividend yield now? And, are they still attractive to buy?

Let me share why the local stock market reacted positively. The global stock market including Singapore rallied after U.S. stocks rose overnight due to positive news that year-over-year inflation in October fell below 8% for the first time in eight months.

US investors hope that with the good news, the Fed will be less aggressive in their interest rate hikes.

If you remember, the current dividend yield is based on the formula.

Current Dividend Yield % = (Previous Full Year Dividend / Current Stock Price) x 100%

When stock prices goes down, the current dividend yield goes up. Vice versa, if stock prices goes up, the current dividend yield goes down.
