Below are the key dates for the release of financial results in July and August 2023 for the REITs that are in my stock portfolio. In this month and next month, most REITs will either be releasing their financial results or providing business updates in Q2 FY2023.
In the upcoming Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise its benchmark overnight interest rate by 25 basis points. Economists shared that this may be the last rate hike which is good news for investors.
As you can see from the chart from Trading Economics, the annual inflation rate in the United States had slowed to 3% in June of 2023.
The rate hike will probably shaken the prices of REITs once more which poses an opportunity for REITs investors like you and me to accumulate more of quality REITs into our stock portfolio.
The news of the last rate hike will boost the morale of REIT investors and probably send stock prices soaring (boat sailing away).
